635nm 5mw High - Power Laser Modules

Laser modules are compact, integrated devices that combine a laser source

with necessary optical, electrical, and mechanical components.

They are designed to emit highly concentrated, coherent light beams,

making them essential in a wide range of industries.

Working Principle

At the core of a laser module is a lasing medium, which can be a solid

(such as neodymium - doped yttrium aluminum garnet - Nd:YAG), a gas (like helium - neon - HeNe),

or a semiconductor. When an external energy source, known as pumping,

is applied to the lasing medium, it excites the atoms or molecules within.

These excited particles then release photons through a process called stimulated emission.

The optical cavity within the module, typically formed by mirrors at both ends,

further amplifies and directs these photons, resulting in a focused,

high - intensity laser beam emerging from the module.
